Employees are entitled to 5.6 weeks' paid annual leave (28 days for full-time employees, including bank holidays). Employers must also comply with updated record-keeping requirements introduced from April 2026, requiring detailed tracking of holiday and entitlement usage. If possible, we would always recommend enhancing statutory holiday to help attract and retain employees.
